Exciting news for gaming fans as Infection mode returns to Player’s Unknown Battleground (PUBG) just in time for Halloween.
Starting from now till November 9th, players will be able to get into their favorite Infection Mode through a free content update with in-game themes and costumes added as part of PUBG’s Halloweeks celebration.
In the Infection Mode, players are split into two teams at the beginning of the match, including Zombies and Defenders.
Zombies must defeat all Defenders before the time limit ends the match for victory, but if even one Defender survives, the Defender team earns the Chicken Dinner.
Defenders have the option to use firearms such as M416 and AK47 with super Extended Mags while Zombies can only use melee attacks and abilities, which have cooldown times.
If the player gets defeated, he/she becomes infected and joins the Zombie clan, who can even transform into Fast Zombie, Stealth Zombie, and the Zombie King with huge defense and attack boost.
Defenders will also transform into powerful combatants called the Vanquisher when there are only three of them left. However, if the player is Infected and killed by Vanquishers they cannot be resurrected.
This makes the game even more thrilling, apart from the return of Infection Mode, today’s content update delivers a new wave of specially-themed in-game décor for PUBG’s Halloweeks.
PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.
